Apple iPhone App Policies Strike Again

November 12, 2009

AppleI wrote some time ago, here, about the ridiculous policies that Apple has when it comes to trying to get an app on their iPhone.  Well apparently even some of the best have had enough with Apples iPhone app process.  Facebook developer Joe Hewitt, who’s behind the Facebook app for iPhone, has quit the project.  He’s still with Facebook but it appears he’s moving back to web development, where Apple can’t make him jump through hoops just to publish his applications.

“My decision to stop iPhone development has had everything to do with Apple’s policies.” – Joe Hewitt

Perhaps if more developers spoke out against Apples iPhone app process then they might change…..then again probably not.  See the whole article from techcrunch here.
